Sub : Seeking help of International media for justice
Hello,
We are from India. We are writing this to you after getting frustrated with our local media and in hope for getting justice for a 15 year old rape victim.
On August 19, 2017,Rape victim Sugali ,a class 10 student, was found dead at 11am under mysterious conditions in her hostel room in Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy Residential High school in the outskirts of Kurnool town of Andhra Pradesh state of India. The parents received a call that day, informing them that their daughter is unwell, asking them to come to school and take her to the hospital. Upon reaching the school,Raju, the father of the victim was shocked to see his daughter's lifeless body.
After it was found that, it was not just sucide but rape and murder. The AP government promised CBI enquiry in this case. But it has issued a Fake GO.
There is no progress in this case because sons of few political leaders were involved in this issue.
It has been 4 years, their fight for justice continues-and despite evidence of sexual assault of the minor girl, the investigators and several others involved seem intent on diverting the proceedings into untenable territory.
We humbly request you to write about this case. Please help us to get justice for a 15 year old girl.
